Giving Back To Our Safe Place Respite Center
Freedom Youth Family Justice Center Inc. need your support. Just a small donation in the amount of $60.00 can help contribute towards meals, entertainment, transporting, or paying for the cost of hygienic products for the girls recovering at the Safe Place Respite program. A private donor donated $200.00 and we was able to purchase a few memberships at nearby location where our girls are able to participate on a ongoing basis in fun activities.
We hope that you will find it in your hearts to give today. Consider giving as low as $25.00 a month it will go a long way. Thank you!

Story Time
Story Time
From passion to purpose our goals and model has remain the same to Empower, Strengthen, Stabilize, Prevent, Educate, Advocate, and Connect. When Freedom Youth launched the company focus was mainly on youth living in red zone districts that could potentially make teens vulnerable for sex trafficking. We wanted to gage the community in various neighborhoods of New York City so, we created surveys and set off to explore what people knew about human trafficking and we discovered that 27 percent of the people that we surveyed knew what human trafficking was and how children were lured in the lifestyle. The Founder Monique Ferguson-Riley understood that to protect the youth from human traffickers she would have to share her own story of resilience and educate the masses on how human traffickers lure their victims and what makes the youth vulnerable to trafficking. The Founders began advocating and providing preventive educational training to parents, students, and educators. The company enlisted their first group of trained peer educators with the help of SYEP teens who would spend two weeks learning about the issues of trafficking, teen dating violence and conducting peer to peer preventive education. The summer youth teen not only educated their peers they were tasked to engage in civic engagement activities throughout the five boroughs of New York City. The group participated in New York City parks cleanup and gardening efforts, participated in our Vulnerable People Project by packaging food, PPE, safe sex materials, information on testing sites, hosted weekly fresh fruits and vegetables stands to the elderly in need, and used their talents to educate the masses on various social issues plaguing young people. Later in the year the executive team decided to serve victims and survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence. By providing case management and comprehensive supportive services for the survivors and their immediate family members. Freedom Youth Family Justice Center decided to open a small unit for assisting parents/guardians with finding their missing loved ones who may have been involved in human trafficking which led to our rescue mission at Freedom Youth Family Justice Center we know that when one child is missing from our community the entire community is affected. We provide dedicated skilled staff that is committed to the recovery of those that may have been abducted or forced frauded and /or coerced into the lifestyle of human trafficking. January 23. 2023 Freedom Youth Family Justice Center has reached another plateau by opening up their first Safe Home in New York for girls between the ages of 12-15 years old. Our slogan at Freedom Youth family Justice Center is, "Do Not Silence the Pain." we encourage victims and survivors to seek help you are not alone in this battle, and we are here to help.
